Buffet studied under the Benjamin Graham, he there learned principle of value investing and thus it laid a foundation principle of trading.

The undervalued stock means the stocks which are supposed to be in lesser price against its face value. He believed the stock prices are irrational due to price fluctuations. As per him the intelligent investors do not become part of crowd but believe in their own research.

Graham also wrote book ‘The Intelligent Investor’ in 1949 to guide the investor about the trading. The book was about an idea of buying the undervalued stocks in the market and keeping the securities well diversified.

In 1962, When Buffett got chance to work with New England Textile Company Called Berkshire Hathaway and he bought some of its stock. He started to buy the share of this company after there was dispute among the company board. Buffet saw this company that was cheap and bought it, regardless of the fact that he wasn’t an expert in textile manufacturing. Gradually, Buffet shifted Berkshire’s focus away from its traditional endeavors, instead using it as a holding company to invest in other businesses. Over the decades, Warren has bought, held and sold companies in a variety of different industries. As a investor Warren is known as ‘Jack of all trades’.

Warren Buffett is known as value investor and the most successful share market investor in the world. Also, he is well known as owner of Berkshire Hathaway. As per him, “The early you start to invest the more you can earn money”.
